Suzukis Rule!

Can anyone beat Mat? It sure doesn’t look like it. It also looks like the Suzukis are unbeatable in WSB. If someone doesn’t step up and challenge these guys both of these series could bog down into boring parades. WSB is just turning the corner after many had given it up for dead and the AMA series is struggling with a host of issues. Neither series needs these overwhelming victories on one man or one brand. Tight racing for 2nd is fun but no replacement for tight racing for the lead. Lets hope the challengers rise to the occasion.

ROSSI IS A HARD ASS

Well Valentine sure showed some big ones on Sunday. Whether or not you think that was a safe/fair/ sportsmanlike pass you have to admit it showed a bit of what he is made of. Many folks are ready to say Rossi is the best ever but I am not. He has challenged himself certainly but no one else has. To move into the Parthenon with the likes of Hailwood, Roberts, Duke, Ago, Dunlop, et al. he needs to overcome formidable foes. Gods do not defeat mere mortals they defeat other gods. Sunday was a step in that direction.
